Old thread I know but I'm having the same problem. I think it's the leather. Some leathers are really "sticky" and others aren't. I think it's a quality issue to be honest.

Thank you and yes; I was able to find a source at a price I was looking for that would let me mix and match a few different sizes.

I have been looking for a place that sells bulk sewing machine needles for the machines mentioned in the subject line for 2 hours and have had zero luck. I want to buy 100 at a time to save some cash on the size or sizes I use most. I have searched the forum and the suppliers sections with no luck. Anyone have a source for the 200/25 and larger sizes?
