Wow great feedback here nice site fellas and thanks. The knowledge and craftsmanship here are outstanding. The holster wears great, best waistband option for my 1911. I end up wearing my '70s jackass shoulder rig more though because I'm sitting at work all day and the armpit carry has more comfort and access. Truthfully most of the time Im lazy and just throw a ppk or makarov in my pocket, but there's no crafty leather fun in that! Kevin

So my friend is a fat guy that's always complaining about how his 1911 beavertail jabs his side and why doesn't anybody make a hoster for that? Haha ok ok it's for me! It's my first try at making a holster. Hand stitched and made start to finish in an afternoon while trying to keep a 4 month old happy. I sacrificed a little grip access for all day comfort.
