Greetings!
I am a total newbie and have much to learn!!
I am making pouches out of suede for iPads and such and need to make a slew of holes to sew two pieces of suede together. I tried using an awl to punch the holes, but the holes close up as soon as I pierce the suede. I am now using a rotary punch set at the smallest hole, but I find it extremely hard to keep the hole even spaced despite marking the holes with a spacer. In addition, it is quite hard on my hands when I have to punch over 100 or so holes. Is there a better solution?
I am attaching a picture of a pouch I did for a kindle.
Hey, I know compared to the kind of work you guys do, it looks terrible!!! LOL!
