Just came across your asking about Harold Madden. I knew him and his wife very well. They where like a second set of parents to my wife and I. We lived about three blocks from them. I broke two of his horses for him. I have some old home movies of him and his wife. We where friends of them for many years until Harold died. I always wanted to own one of his saddles but at the time I had a wife and three small childern, and two horses of my own. I just could not afford one at the time. I have been looking for one of his saddles for years. Never though I would see one again. Still havent yet but you are the first person that I have come across that knows who he is.
