  1. Thanks, Ill have to order some of those and see how they work.
  2. The magnets by themselves dont seem to be very strong. I am putting a magnet on both sides and lining the poles up. The magnets are not rigid like other magnets but will flex.
  3. I purchased some money clip magnets that come with a small metal plate and they dont seem to work very well. I am using 5/6 chrome tanned and lining it with pigskin on side where the magnets touch. The 5/6 has been skived in the middle so it can bend freely but still will not hold more than 5 bills folded. Am I doing something wrong or should I double up the magnets which makes it really thick? Also are there any other magnets that would work better for this? I also would like to use them on a moneyclip attached to the back of a wallet sleeve. Any thoughts or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
  4. My fault, so many part numbers. I was looking at the 10 but ill look at the 4. What is the benefit to a top and bottom feed opposed to just a bottom feed?
  5. Thank you for the input. I have a Cobra class 4 and love it. Steve is a great guy and a big help when it comes to his machines. Ill save up and go for the Cobra.
  6. I would like to get the cobra np4 $1900 but I found a Consew DSC-S3 for $950 that's a pretty significant price difference. Would it really be worth spending the extra for the cobra?
  7. I'm looking at purchasing a skiving machine and wanted to know if anyone is familiar with the Consew DCS-S3. Is this a good machine or should a spend the extra money and go with a cobra. I will be skiving 10oz leather max, but mostly 4-5 oz oil tanned.
