I finally decided to break out the stuff I bought to begin leatherworking. I wasn't sure about how to do ANYTHING at all, really. Just what I've watched in videos and read on here. I'm originally interested in this for making holsters, possibly the ability to fix things for saddles, carraiges...
I started out with a piece of scrap that I had, I offered whatever I made to be for my GF first, hence the K(erri) and off I went. It was just basically a learning of the whole shebang. Trimming to be a square, carving, using tools, etc. I think it came out pretty good, considering it was with zero planning and just started using tools as I went along to see what each did! I think it was a tad small to start with for a project. The art was tight for the swivel knife.
Let me know what you think!
