Thanks Gregg! You guys are incredibly helpful around here. This is my first sewing machine and am planning on using it do a boat cover and some upholstery stuff. I am planning on using 138 dabond, what type/size needles should I buy? Any brands better than others?

I did. It looks like new. The lady used it make stuff for her horses. She gave a bunch of thread and 4 big roll of 1.25" nylon web strap. From my research it seems the main difference is how the reverse is engaged, but not sure what else is different from the newer models.

I'm looking at purchasing an 206rb-2 tomorrow for a decent price. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between this and the newer models of the 206. Should I hold out and buy a new version? Thanks for your help!
