  1. Does anyone know what I can use to keep the black dye from running of leather when it gets wet? I am making a pair of saddle bags, the leather is veg tanned, I have used Midnight black, Eco-Flo dye. I gave it 3 coats of dye, and then a coat of Neats foot oil, then I rubbed some beeswax on it and tried to melt it into the leather, when I dropped a little water on it I still keep getting black dye when I wipe it with a paper towel. Obviously I don't want it to run if the guy I am making it for has a brown saddle and to have blackish marks where the saddle bags go because it got wet. So does anyone know how I can keep the black dye from rubbing off?

  2. My LG android phone was going dead in 4-6 hours. I thought it was the phone till someone else told me what was happening (it was brand new so I though it was a phone issue).Tossed my custom made case for a cheap store one and the battery life issue was instantly fixed. I have since made a nice leather one that fits a little on the loose side. The phone is happy and I am now that I am not using a cheap vinyl case.

Hmm. Interesting so I definitely need to make it a little on the loose side. Ok thanks.

  3. I am making a phone case for my grandpa. But it is one of those phones that is the size of a tablet LOL. I am having a problem with the pocket for it. I don't want it to be like the multi-tool case on the right to where if it is tipped upside down it falls out. But I don't want it to be so tight that is impossible to pull out like it is on the left. How can I make it a little more easier to pull out? Thanks.
