  1. Here is a question about magnets. I wanted to make some cell phone holsters, and some wallets with hidden flat magnets, so I ordered some neodymium magnets (N42) discs. I know they are particularly strong, but they came with a warning label that said they could effect people with pacemakers, and wipe out credit card magnetic strips, and possibly harm cell phones. That doesn't sound good. After googling and writing the manufacturers, they don't deny this (probably for liability), although they label these magnets as "craft" magnets because they are definitely on the lowest end of powerful. Does anyone have any input or suggestion? I didn't think the typical magnets you can buy at the fabric store would be strong enough for leather.
