What can be used to prime a very soft suede with a paint primer, so I can obtain an un-textured surface before the final coat (metallic paint)? The purpose is to separate the leather from the paint and to keep the characteristics of the paint (metallic) intact. Thank you! Nando

I have a 2 ton manual arbor press and I wonder if I would be able to nicely cut 3-4 oz (1-1.5 mm) leather, using a steel rule cutting die or solid die. I would appreciate any input. Thanks, Nando
