  1. I have a shop that is too small for all my sewing machines and here are two 'porche' level sewing machines that handle leather really well. For sale is a German made Adler 267, 73 [not the Linda model sold on eBay] walking-foot with bottom-feed and needle-feed designed for medium-weight specialty materials, including leather. This walking is made of two light parts without alot of abrasive surfaces and sews even delicate materials without blemish. This is a flatbed, head in an international shipping box that has never been set up. Used in a table with hundreds of hours of use the cost is $2,995, my price is $1,500 freight OBO. This machine can sew upholstery, leather especially delicate surfaces. New, never used. Yep. mint. And I am selling my Tippmann AEROstitch. This was one of the last units made and has both reverse and has a button that let's you disengage the power and reposition the needle while sewing. The Aerostitch is a rare machine that takes it's power from a 100psi compressor. I have had this rebuilt by Tippmann but never set it up. It is stored in the original shipping custom box created by Tippmann along with a flatbed attachment, and many spare parts including bobbins are part of the sale. The Aerostitch can sew welts, holsters, really anything. Can ship UPS or freight or you can pick it up. Please send email to EEnglishJohn - at - gmail.com Please change the 'at' to @ so the spam-bots don't flood me. Thanks for looking. I have photos for people who send email.
  2. Sheridan style is a mix of both carving technique and skill, and the victorian era carvings from the outdoors; leaves, flowers, horses, things that filled the cowboys outdoor experience. Wouldn't the skull be a new era Goth type style? with less need for all those subtle stamps that imitate background surface textures? Nice work, still. beezachoppa. . . can you post a photo of how your topstitching is different? is it hand-stitched topstitching? John-E
  3. Steve, Those are nice little galleries -- from Photoshop? and I see that you work in New York City but also in Connecticut? Thanks for letting us see all your great biker designs. JE
  4. Do you have both carving and stamping tools? They work together to bring out the image.
  5. Leather projects from this site look good; www.rexkelly.org. Here is one of the sample boot tops with inlays. http://rexkelly.org/boots.html It appears there are also lasts for sale to other bootmakers. Does anyone else know of other leather talent in New York City? John English
