  2. Hi, Looking for a service manual for either the Seiko CH-8B or Singer 45B8BC cylinder arm machines. Something more than the instruction book that is offered by Seiko. Currently I am having two problems. The first is that if we use the second tension assembly on the face plate, the machines breaks thread. I have 4 machines, all are expericing the same problem. I thought is might be a bad lot of thread, but we have tested it, and it is in spec. It does the same on the new shipment of thread. The machine has been completely de-burred, and it still has not helped. The second is on one of the machines. If I have the feet lift equally, then the outside foot lifts with the inside foot. To keep this from happening, I have the outside foot to barely lift, and the inside lifts very high. It has beat a hole into the left side cover on the from of the machine. Any suggestions on what I might be missing? Thanks, Mark
  3. Hi, My name is Mark Cook. I am the owner of a small, second generation, business where we sell and servrice Industial Sewing Machines, sell Upholstery Supplies, and do reupholstery work. Most machines we sell are single or double needle walking foot/compound feed. Anything from the Singer 16 Class to the Seiko CH-8B. I came to this site hoping to find others who work on those machines and to share tips on repair and operation of those machines. Mark
