  1. I visit flea markets, estate sales, and junk shops constantly. Over the years I have found some amazing tools and all sorts of wonderful hardware. Its really nice to use old fittings for a project and make things with tools that have been in use for many decades. The bonus is that these things can be purchased very cheaply too. Anyone repairing or making shoes can find some really nice implements that are no longer made and very handy. It is a bit frustrating to find some neat old tools that I can't identify. Will
  2. Hello! Kind thanks to all for the excellent information! I will give these a try. I thought there was no cure.Nice to hear from all these experienced craftsmen ! Regards, Will
  3. Hello, I have a pair of antique cowboy chaps, well used but in very good condition. Not brittle or damaged, very wearable. The problem is a grey-greenish surface mold that constantly appears when stored for a bit.Is there any product that I can apply to prevent this? Kind Thanks, Willy
