Hello, my name is Deb. I am new to the board and am looking forward to meeting all of you. I have been hand stitching leather projects for years and am tired of doing it! I make handcrafted items for family members and friends. I have developed a method of setting stones into leather and use my love of art to carve, stamp, and paint designs around the stone. Now I am looking for a sewing machine to make small projects like purses, checkbooks, billfolds, pda cases, etc. easier to sew. In the future I would also like to try making shoes and sandals. I am clueless as to what sewing machine would be good for these purposes. I am also wanting information on vendors for sewing machines, thread, and supplies.
