Hi I found an old piece of veg tan leather I want to make a bridle of. The leather is a bit dry, so it need some oil or leatherbalm (wax?) to make it soft again so it don't get cracks. I want to dye the leather, and I wonder if I sould dye it firstm and then add oil or leatherbalm, or if it is bether to oil the leather first and then do the coulouring... (hope my english is good enough...)
