I just recently purchased a Union Special 6600 from 1913 and I am unable to find any information on the web about the machine. It has a similar needle to my Singer 29, and also has a pot that the threads run through which I would imagine was for holding wax. The machine came with everything from the 2 speed pulley and Westinghouse electric motor to the 1" wide leather belt, and everything in between. Its going to be a bit of a nightmare trying to figure how the motor mounts in relation to the pulley, then how all that transfers up to the machine. It appears it makes some type of chain stitch, but its nothing like Ive ever seen before. Any information on the machine would be greatly appreciated.
