Hey Folks!
I've been lurking on here for a few months and wanted to properly introduce myself. I am based in Portland, OR and I am fairly new to leather; I have been learning for the past 5 months or so. The tremendous wealth of information on here has been a huge help in learning techniques as well as answering the millions of questions this great hobby tends to bring.
I started off making watch straps, which is still my focus, but I have been occasionally taking on other projects as people express interest in them. I originally set out just to make myself some unique straps, but so many friends asked where they could get one or if I was selling that I decided to make it a legitimate side business - WhiskeyStraps. As I continue to learn and improve my techniques, I suspect my work and overall look will change too.
If you would like to take a look at some of my stuff, I am most active on Instagram: whiskeystraps, or you can check out my website at www.whiskeystraps.com (still a work in progress). I still have tons to learn and I am looking forward to contributing to this great community any way that I can.
Cheers!
-Neil
