I trim them because I vacuum form with Kydex and the smaller the object the better my form works. Again these are still perfectly suitable for holster making with leather and or Kydex.

Some of them have half of the grip cut off to fit in my mold, but are perfectly suitable to use for holster making. I have a barely used branding iron for sale. Most of the holsters I build are kydex and don't really need this anymore. I paid $249.00 for it new and only used it on 2 separate occasions. Perfect working condition, just a little tarnished because it was stored in my garage. It can also be used as a soldering iron as well with separate attachments.
