Well after picking up my Dixon edgers and doing some extensive work with them over the last week, I feel somewhat qualified to review them..
They didn't have an edge on them when they arrived but I don't find that to be much of a problem. Although they did take a lot of work to get going well.
No makers mark, which would make it hard for resale I'm presuming.
The groove was quite short compared to old Dixons. But the most disappointing fact was the groove is crooked !!
I managed to pick up an old No. 3 and after comparing the new to old I was so shocked at the difference in quality that I rang the place of purchase, had a chat to them about it and they offered a
refund, which I thought was quite generous considering they'd been sharpened and used.
