I'm actually trying my hand at a fire helmet shield. I've been doing a lot of reading about different techniques and I'm ready to give it a shot. The one problem I'm having is getting a decent template to work with. I have a few commercially produced shields but the metal bar on the back gives its a curve that makes it tough to copy or scan. Anyone have a template they are willing to share?
