Selling the last of my Dad's sewing machines. I have used this machine myself & as far as I could tell it worked fine. Comes complete with stand & treadle. Selling for $1100 obo. CASH ONLY, NO TRADES. Local pick up only in Spokane, WA area. Thanks. ETA: I did a search for Adler 30-15 values & didn't come up with much(my listed price was taken from an older thread here inquiring of value for same). This machine hasn't seen much use for the last 30+ years(Dad sold his shoe repair business in 1986). It has been used a handful of times since then, the last time being about a year ago.

WTK - Value of 'Auto-Soler' Shoe Buffer Machine
RJinWA replied to RJinWA's topic in Leather Machinery
I'm located in E Wa State, near the Idaho border. Yeah, the one on ebay I'm sure will sit for a while. I did check out the buffing wheels & they're priced at $80-100 ea new, so there's so value right there w/ 4 of them(have some life left). I will be checking with some local shoe repair shops as well. -
This is an older machine that my father used in his leather business, it has been in storage for a couple decades. It is very good condition & works great. It also comes w/ foot operated controls (will get pics of those ASAP). The make of the machine is 'The Standard Rivet Co.'( mod# 2171). These appear to be still manufactured by the same Co. & is equivalent to the current mod #2, though I'm not sure if the new models are American made...this one obviously is due to it's age. Would prefer local pick-up in Spokane Valley, Wa. but shipping may be an option(will look into cost). Asking $375 obo ($525 new). Thanks.

WTK - Value of 'Auto-Soler' Shoe Buffer Machine

Here's a link to the similar machine I mentioned that's on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brush-master-Polishing-Unit-Shoe-Repair-Machine-Leather-Work-Equipment-/323780234476?redirect=mobile -
This belonged to my Dad who used it years ago in his boot repair shop. It's sat in my folks garage unused for years now. I am looking to sell it but unsure of value. It's an "Auto-Soler' brand & only has a serial#. Still works fine, just dirty. The only comparible machine I've found was on ebay for $1800(IIRC), but that's not been sold. Seemed high to me for a fairly simple machine. Thanks for any help.

My apologies, thought I had all the needed(accurate) info. I have edited my post to reflect the info as accurately as I can. If there are further questions I'll do my best to answer them but it would be best if I just pass along my Dad's direct contact info. As I said, I am posting this ad for him & he could more quickly answer your questions. P.S. - If there is a way to tell the age of the machine I would be glad to check on it (serial #?). Thanks.

Hello all. Appreciate the information you provide on your site. I am posting this for my Dad who is getting out of leather work. This is a 'excellent cond.' Juki 'Pro 2000' stitcher. This is a Japanese-made machine(not a clone). It has had upgrades done by Ferdinand which include a speed reducer & 1" foot clearance, among others. According to my Dad, this machine was used by Ferdinand as a demo at shows for a short time. It has had less than a day's use by my father since he got it. He also has several attachments & accessories for the machine. He is asking $3500 CASH for the MACHINE ALONE...more for extras(NO TRADES). This will be available for pick-up ONLY(Spokane, WA area). Thanks for your time & I will pass along his direct number through a p.m. for anyone interested. ETA:I just got off the phone w/ my Dad. He bought the machine from Hoffman Bros., who bought out the inventory from Ferdinand. I asked him about the 'Taking' name & he knew nothing of it. As far as he knows it is a genuine Juki. I also found out that the machine had been used by Ferdinand as a demo during shows for a short time. I wasn't aware of this & have edited my ad to reflect this info.
