Not to bump an old post but this is false. It's not plastic. It's actually a rubber coating applied over a printed high quality cotton canvas. The light leather trim is in fact leather and it is a high quality natural untreated leather, or vachetta. It will turn color and is sensitive to water because it has no treatment whatsoever.
