Thank you all for your words of encouragement. I think I’ll buy a dvd or something that shows some of the ins and outs. Of coarse as I know what to ask, I’ll be here posting for pointers. In the mean time, it's fun playing around with.

Hello all, I've been a member for a couple of weeks now and have been reading and looking at alot of post on this site. I found this site while looking into leatherworking and have now completed my first couple of projects. I had no idea leather could be tooled to such neet forms. I hope to learn how to make bags, boxes, and just about any thing usefull. After seeing some of the stuff on this site I started with the wood board pattern. I love the look. I have not been too happy with the figure carvings that I've tried. Something about bevelling after cutting and the whole molding that I'm missing. I have been blow away with many of the works you all have done. I hope to learn alot from everyone. Any how, here are couple of examples of where I am currently.
