Thank you Kiwi!

I'm starting the project over, and will make them even better this time. Thanks for the comments!

thanks Kiwi!

The shellbox is a 2 piece construction, this was a new design I was trying and I think it's how I will make them from now on
-
Thanks. It's actually technically a "Trap shell box". Trap shooters use these by just sliding a box of 2 3/4" shells right into the pouch and can easily reach in to reload.

Yes, I feel like the more I make the better they get! I've sold quite a few of them, mostly to Australian clients...

A true work of art...

That is amazing!

The primary purpose of the thumb loop is to increase control over the sling / prevent sling migration.

Very nice sheath!

If you go with snaps, use much thinner leather. There is a lot of pressure on this thicker 8-9 oz leather that would pull the snaps apart. Snaps are popular for travel as well since it lays flat in your suitcase

I'm using Slotted Posts from chicagiscrews.com on the back. Flat head hex screws can be found at many hardware suppliers. I think in the us acklandsgrainger.com is popular.

These sure are a lot of work! Using hex socket screws which are my new favorite fasteners

One for him, two as gifts for others... lol

Yes they are hand stitched. I rivet and stitch to about 75%, then stuff the lead shot in there.

I put it on the wrong strap for the pics lol! It uses a couple of snaps so it can be relocated easily.
I took a few pics for my portfolio then packaged it for the customer.

The customer sent me a pic of something he found online. I basically copied the style and adapted it.

Eyes are a quite challenging thing... each time I try they end up looking cross-eyed
