I have been lurking here for a little while, y'all do some amazing work. I am just getting into leather work, mainly just practicing getting technique down right now. There are some excellent resource threads here.
I have a question: I am planning on undertaking a project, and I would like to get the seams machine stiched, but I can't warrent laying out cash for a machine right now. I was wondering if I make my patterns and do the tooling coulod I take it to a saddle shop or simillar? Is this very common to take pieces in and have someone else stich it up? Just curious before I jump in over my head.
