Hey there! I know this is an old thread, but just wondering if you ever decided on a leather machine that you're happy with...? I am also here in Western Canada and hoping to avoid buying over the border with the exchange rate the way it is right now... and of course shipping, which would leave me practically having to sell my first-born!
