1st, I'm a newbie to both the forum and to leatherwork beyond the most routine "survival sewing, repair & fabrication". I recently acquired the Singer Model 29? in the picture and am trying to tie down what Mdl it actually is. I was told that it's a Mdl 29 but in appearance it does not match any of the pics of Singer Mdl 29s I have been able to find. It was a barn find and as such needs some work to bring it into viable service. Subsequently, if I find I need parts I want to be reasonably sure of what Singer Mdl I'm talking about. To that end I appeal to the members of the forum for any knowledge,thoughts, guesses, divining, etc. as to what Singer Mdl I'm dealing with.
