  1. Hi i'm new to this forum and would like to seek for professional help. I did search around a little bit but cannot find any answers of it Products I bought: Deglazer Fiebings Pro Dye (chocolate) Tan-kote Meltonian shoe cream polish (netural) Venetian shoe cream I'm trying to dye my Allen Edmonds calf dress shoes from bourbon color to chocolate color, bought few Fiebings products and thinking to apply 1 layer of Tan-kote as a finisher (by hand), then apply venetian shoe cream as a conditioner and meltonian cream to polish it out. I tried to contact Fiebings and ask them how to use Tan-kote, they replied it is not needed and can skip to the shoe cream directly.....Is it true? I afraid the dye will rub off on my dress shoes one day. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
