Thank you...I'm still struggling with it. It seems as if the horizontal bar in the middle is too short. It's a very tight squeeze on either side of the drip pan. You're right it is a pain in the neck....

This is where I "thought" it might go but I don't know where the hook part of the spring goes. Any ideas?

Can someone help me with my knee lift, please? Whom ever installed the knee lift apparently put the horizontal bar in crooked, so as I was using it it came out of the end bracket and the spring fell out and I can't get the spring back on so that it springs back after lifting....
