I didn't know where else to post this, so I posted it here.
I'm not sure what leather I want to use for this bag. My fiance would like me to make her a bag and matching wallet. I will be using Ian Atkinson's pattern for the bag (this pattern: https://www.etsy.com/listing/264115189/build-along-leather-pattern-6-turned?ref=shop_home_active_26) and making a simple wallet like this one https://www.pinterest.com/pin/564498134524401334/
So, I'm not sure what leather to use for this stuff. I've previously made myself a bag (messenger bag style but almost case-like), but I used a double shoulder in 6/7 oz veg tan then dyed it, which is obviously not going to work on this one.
