Hi there. I'm kind of new to leather work and completely green when it comes to fur. I am hoping someone knows a way to hide a seam off the edge of fur. I am making a sporran out of a muskrat pelt and I want the back legs and tail to hang (not part of the pouch) I am concerned that if I stitch off of the edge of the fur the thread will pull the fur flat and ruin the way the fur naturally lays. Any tips would be great Thanks Jeff
