Has anyone on here done this stitch by hand? Is there a trick to it? The curve is tricky.

Hi Folks, does anyone have any advice for how to stitch this moc toe on this style of work boot? My understanding is that the vamp is one piece and where you see the white stitch around the toe, that is just a fold, not two separate pieces. thanks
