  1. Thanks for your reply Floyd! My daughter took the bobbin assembly apart and found very small pieces of ground up thread that was causing the problem. Once removed, she put everything back together and the machine is back to running. She sent a sample of her practice piece, and it seems she's to be learning how to operate the machine. Steve
  2. Good day Floyd, My daughter is new to using a leather sewing machine and she was texting me yesterday about a problem she was having with the bobbin. It's pretty cold where she now lives and told me she would go out into her shop to resume working on this later in the day. I have referred her to this site, and specifically this thread. I'll wait to here back from her and in the meantime, I will check out that video you mentioned. Thank you, Steve
  3. Just a quick update, I misspoke, she can remove the bobbin, but not the shuttle or case it sits in. Thanks, Steve
  4. Hello folks, I'm new to the forum although I have been reading your threads for several weeks now. My daughter has a Cobra 2600. She just started sewing on it and noticed the bobbin thread was a different size from the top thread. When she tried to remove the bobbin, she couldn't get it out of the machine. She tried to start a new account on your forum to ask for assistance, but the site wouldn't let her complete the process. (I figure she has somehow set her computer so as not to accept cookies) Anyway, if someone could help resolve this issue, we would both appreciate your assistance. Please let me know if I have mistakenly posted this thread in the wrong location for this type of request. Thank you, Steve
