    Thank you! I ordered them but I think they are not exactly the same as the originals. It may entail a bit of bending till I can get it to fit properly. Thanks anyway.

    Hi there, I am new to this forum and have also just bought a 18-3. It’s in remarkably good condition but like Thomas I am also after a take up spring that will fit this machine. Everything else seems to be working correctly but I am a novice when it comes to sewing machines. Anybody have any ideas where I might find one? Thanks for any help in advance, Martyn
