  1. Still learning Didn’t see any previous discussions on this issue so,,, While dying a 2-3oz piece of veggitan it looks like water spots in it. Should I have “cleaned” the leather first with a deglazer.? There was NO water on the leather before starting the dye. And no finish that I know of on it previously.
  2. I’m not really experienced with leather, but it doesn’t appear to be “obviously” stretchy. Im now home from work, and have a few pics. But can’t upload them. I guess because I’m a new member to the forum. I really like the looks of this leather. It has a grain on the face. And the back side isn’t too bad. Just looking for a way to clean it up a little.
  3. I am very new to leather crafting and purchased this leather for a project. It is very “fluffy” on the inside. Looking for any advice on how to tame this down. Thinking about a glass slicker, but if someone has other ideas/experiences I would be grateful. Sorry no pics This is called a Sof-tan vegetable tan Bought it from SLC.
