  1. I've only just started working in pyrography (and LOVING it!) and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for preserving my work? Same as for tooled pieces, or do I need to make any special considerations for this type of work? Thanks!
  2. Yes, I can oil the flesh side...I'll give it a go with some olive oil...thank you!
  3. I recently made a name plate for a dog collar, which I did with pyrography. I finished it with a coating of Tan Kote, and I really like how it looks, however it's stiffer than I'd like, and I'm worried about cracking later on. I was wondering if you can apply oil after Tan Kote? If so, what would you recommend? I would like to avoid too much darkening if possible... edited to add: I used veg tan leather Thanks!!
