  1. Just purchased my first Consew 226R-1 and got it running last night. Looking online, I noticed that most of the pics i see have the handwheel oriented so that the belt is on the inside of the wheel, and have also seen many comments that there is a stitch length guide between the belt and the machine itself. I have a handwheel that does NOT have the stitch length part, and in order for the belt to align with the motor, and the bobbin winder, the hand wheel needs to be installed backwards, with the belt to the outside of the larger diameter handwheel. is this correct? it seems very difficult to use the handwheel in the current orientation, but when i flipped it around, the belt is far too close to the machine and not aligned with the motor (rubbing the table) and not in line w/ the bobbin winder. looking online, i can't find a handwheel that has the stitch length guage, so i don't if i have a bastardized machine or is this how it's supposed to be. flipside, i ordered a servo motor with syncronizer and super excited to get that installed this weekend!
  2. here are a few projects for your viewing pleasure/comments. i'm new to this, inherited some tools a couple years ago and just started using them at the end of April.
