  1. Hello all, I'm brand new to leather working, being primarily a woodworker. I'm making some British campaign furniture and leather is used for the seats. I plan on using some copper rivets during the project either #9 or #12. I frequently buy and restore old woodworking tools and some years ago I bought a random lot. Included was a tool I didn't recognize. I later learned it was a rivet setter. Here it is: It has a number 2 marked on it. My guess is that is it's size. I"m guessing that I know the answer, but would I need a specific sized rivet setter for use with #9 or #12 copper rivet? I'm not sure that this one would work as it does seem rather large.
