Hello! I've been gather tools to try and do a leatherwork but haven't had the right project i guess. initially wanted to do repairs on some equipment i have but they just refuse to break! Thought i just bought some pouches that do need some stitching redone.
Interested in learning to make various gun leathers from holsters to ammo pouches. Figure if i make an account i could actually ask questions rather than lurk forever. I've gotten most of the basic equipment down i think, got a few books by Al Stohlman among others. I'm out of excuses to not try and make a thing besides the lack of quality hardware!
I've been on a kick researching the various leather cleaning, restoration, and conditioning treatments and concoctions so i've hopefully come to the right place to pick through some brains.
