Hi, I've tried searching the forum to see if anyone else has asked about this machine but nothing came up. I'm looking to buy my first commercial sewing machine to assemble boot and shoe uppers, and I'm thinking of getting a Consew 701 because I can get one from a dealer locally (which would save the hassle of dealing with shipping), but I haven't seen a lot of feedback online about this specific model. Has anyone here used one? Mainly I'm wondering how well it handles thin leather for women's dress shoes, as well as thicker leather for boots. Additionally, what is the general opinion of the quality of Consew sewing machines, user-friendliness, etc? I could also get a Cowboy machine from the same dealer, but the Consew happens to be cheaper ($2400 vs $2700). Thanks!
