  1. kgg, thanks again. I searched for that topic but couldn’t find the exact one. It somehow lead me to a bunch of video made by “Cechaflo “ on youtube. After watching a solid couple hours of videos on the workings of sewing machines I do believe I figured it out. I took another video, and posted it on YouTube. If some experienced people could look it over and give it the ok, I’ll make it public so other beginners have an idea what’s going on. It may help reduce useless posts like mine above. Cheers, and thanks again for the help.
  2. Well I spent some time looking at the manual. It’s not quite as detailed as I was hoping. I adjusted what believe to be the presser foot adjustment. The only thing it seems to do is adjust the presser foot height up and down, meaning it’s lowest position. This adjustment doesn’t nothing for changing the actual travel of the actual foot (doesn’t change the geometry of anything, just raises and lowers the presser rod). The manual really doesn’t go into very good detail. I attached photos of the manual and the screw which I adjusted. This is a better photo.
  3. Thank you so much. Manual found! Really really appreciated. I’m fairly mechanically inclined but this little thing has me scared to touch any adjustments.
  4. Hello, I apologize for the “beginner” post but I searched widely across the internet and can’t seem to get to the bottom of this. i recently purchased a TDU-N62 sewing machine. Apparently a clone (one of many) of the Singer 11-88. My first project with the machine (complete beginner) is redoing the interior on my old ski boat. While waiting for the Amazon man, I decided to clean some of the old grease and residual oils on the machine. Once putt back together (the only thing I really removed was the feet), I swear the walking feet are not raising nearly as high as when I first purchased the machine. Is someone able to confirm if I’m crazy or not. I’ve spent all day researching and wrapping my head around the machine and now I’m coming for help. Here is a link to YouTube of me turning the machine by hand. The clicking you hear is from the hook mechanism, it rattles a bit without the bobbin. The sound seems to be amplified with the phone on the table. I can’t find a manual anywhere for this machine or any of the replicas. if I’m truly going nuts, is there any sort of height adjustment in this machine? It seems most other machine have it pending the material they are working with.
