I'm working on a Adler 30-70 and the problem is that when sewing threw 2 layers of leather and moving the fabric from right to left it will sometimes skip stitches. On 1 layer no problem any direction. the needle to hook clearance is as close as I can get it. The eccentric screw will not turn for me either. I am at a bit of a loss. I have another one of the same machines and I don't have any issues at all. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
