Does anyone have any good suggestions for books or videos that would provide a basic list of tools, materials and techniques necessary to begin working with leather? I'd like to begin making leather saps and am not sure where to start.

Hello all. Thanks for allowing me to join the forum. My name is Johnathan and I live in eastern NC. I'm interested in getting into leather work, and someone recommended this forum. I've been making knives professionally for about a decade, but have never worked with leather. However, my primary interest is making impact tools such as blackjacks and saps. I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions soon enough.
