  1. Yes the lettering was the most difficult part, I think I'll use some lettering stamps for small letters from now on
  2. It turned out exactly the way I wanted, except for the spots that I had touched up. I do want a darker finish so I had planned to do another coat of finish, I'm thinking i should do that before applying a resist?
  3. I need help yall. This is probably my 3 tooled project and it's my first project where I incorporated paint. I used Tandys Eco-Flo cova color paint and finding medium brown antique finish. I painted my colored areas first and went back to touch up some lighter spots and then applied the antique finish. All was going well until I wiped away the excess and noticed the blotches where I touched up the paint. I'm assuming it was not fully dry in those spots and absorbed more of the dye. What is the best way to fix this? Can I simply paint over it and re-apply the finish. Or should I strip the finish and paint off and start over? If so then what's the best way to do so?
