I am being told by some heat press companies that a 1 ton works great then another states to stamp an area of 5" x 5" it needs to be a floor model 2 ton even when using a heat press. I was looking at a table top for $1400 new manual press, a 5x5 1 ton pneumatic air for $6600. I wan to make my products where the stamp life does not disappear in a few years. Suggestions?

Besides the overkill $6K I found, what Heat Press / Stamp machines are out there that will stamp a LARGER item? Getting frustrated. I am seeking a designated machine for Heat Press only. Can a 6" x 6" stamp produce the heat needed for the stamp? I believe a step down stamp would produce a better quality and even stamping - and where should I go for personalized stamps with the right connection (step down). Prefer an American Made product. Looking for any information / references / testimonies - Thank you so much!
