  1. I had to make a call on the machine today, so I ender up buying it for $410, delivered to my door. The guy I bought it from started sanding it down a bit, in preparation for a respray. I am going to continue with that job, this beauty deserves a new coat of paint. I am going to replace the clutch motor that is on it at the moment, with a 550 watt servo motor, as well as a 3:1 speed reduction pulley. Will post more pictures as I make progress.
  2. I am looking at an old Pfaff 145 and I am trying to figure out its specifications. Things like the type of needle and bobbins it uses, presser foot lift height etc. The model number is "145H-6D LM" I have read the posts on the forum, and have learned the following: D = Heavy Materials L = Leather M = Has safety clutch The bit that I am struggling with, is that all the posts and even the manuals, refer to the machines as either an H1, H2, H3, or H4 machine. I don't have a number next to my H, or is the 6 meant to be the H number? I haven't seen information around an H6 either, so I am a bit confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
