  1. It's page 12 of Service Manual for Singer Sewing Machines 211G155/ 211G156: The timing of the eccentric in relation to the needle movement is achieved by the feed driving eccentric positioning screw in a splined groove of the bed. The positioning screw is the first screw to appear when turning the machine pulley in normal direction of rotation. Can you all help me out?
  2. I haven't ordered anything yet, so I'm open to any ideas on what to do. Here is a picture of the parts. I tried to straighten the tensioning stud and one side broke off. I lost the plunger pin. I see the tensioning stud is riveted on and I wouldn't have a problem trying to rivet a new one on. I need a few other parts, thread guide on the needle, bobbin winder stop and screw 2 table hooks for the machine, and still looking at everything to make it complete, but no one online company that I know of seems to have all those parts. Thank you very much for all the replies.
  3. It seems I need a new tensioner for my 211W155 because the stud on the old one is bent. I tried straightening it, but it's not going to work very well. There's one on Amazon I've thought about purchasing. Is this one any good? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0773KDTWV/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?smid=A1JQQ14HH8YFCN&psc=1#customerReviews I really just need the bracket, not the rest of the parts though. Thanks in advance.
  4. Thanks so much, this is a great site for beginners like me.
  5. Thanks so much it was some thread under the bobbin.I'm really new at this. I need to buy some thread for a outside sun screen, could you recommend some or should I just ask at the store. Thanks again.
  6. I just bought a 211W155 and the hand wheel won't make a full revolution without getting hard to turn when the take-up lever is in the lowest and highest position. It has a clutch motor and the belt is off. It's been setting for quite a while, but I've oiled it well and it's been three or four days and is still hard to turn. I don't want to try to run it with the motor without figuring out why it is so hard to turn. Help appreciated.
