  9. We pushed button. It is in gear. Shaft is moving perfectly but we still have the problem in the video. The little piece ( don’t know what it is called) is not going into the slot the way it is suppose to. It is just on the edge of it.
  10. Thank you cowboy Bob and kgg. We did engage the button. That was the first thing the repair guy did. Fixed the button and engaged it. Then he went to clutch area and that is when everything stopped. He fixed and tweaked everything else but did not feel comfortable taking apart clutch. We have been oiling for two days. Here is where we are at. Thank you for any help.

  12. Thank you Alzilla. As much as as love this machine I just wonder when I should say enough is enough. She has great bones but sometimes …….. The repair man John has fine tuned everything but when he got to this part he just was not comfortable with taking it apart. He doesn’t work on many 111W155.

  15. Does anyone know of someone in North Florida who can repair a problem. The shaft is not hooked up to the lower clutch. See videos. Pieces are stuck on the pulley. Thank you for any help. Mod Edit: (I removed the 240 meg attachment since it's now on youtube -AlZilla)
  16. Yes thread ends up like photo. After just a few stitches thread gets Bunched up and under latch. After several hours of trying different things it seems to be working again. Thank you for your help
  17. I’m sewing webbing onto a cast net using the singer 111w155 which is the only thing in my life that gives me a hard time. I just refilled the bobbins: everything was working up until I did that. It seems to go about 5 stitches then stops abruptly, and all the thread is bunched on the bottom. I have checked threading etc oiled but cannot figure out the WHY. Could it possibly be that there is too much thread on the bobbin? You all have help me in the past and I appreciate it. Is the only bobbin thread adjustment the bigger screw shown in photo? Frustrated in Florida
  18. Thank you so much. Have a great day.

  22. Thank you. I will try that. I did take the bobbin case out to see if anything was stuck inside spring. All good with that. I will check small the small pin next.
  23. Thank you Glenn. I will look again. There did not appear to be anything last time I looked. I might need a magnifying glass as the little one I have is not good with my older eye.
