Just saying hello as a new member. Been interested in this craft for a long time; twice I've had people offer to teach me some of the basics to get me going. One guy had a stroke and could no longer manage, so I bought a lot of tools from him; the second guy who was a close friend passed away about 2 weeks after he made the offer. So, here I am in spite of the lack of close resources. I have some nice deer lining and 10-12 veg tan so I figured I'd start with a couple of holsters. I don't have a machine (yet) so I'll need to do the sewing by hand. Any handy links or books you can recommend I'd be obliged.
