  1. Sorry it's takin me so long to get these on here, I couldn't figure out how to post the pictures, hopefully I have it right this time. I found a brand on the saddle when I went back to take the pictures. I included it in the photos. It is an x with a bar on top, might be a clue to where it has been. My friend said that he bought it from a man here in Oklahoma but has no clue where that man got it. I have searched in several places but have yet to come up with anything on James Abbott but I am going to look up the brand to see if that gives me any clues. I am doing research on the saddle in trade for shooting lessons. So far I seem to shoot better than I research, so any help will be appreciated. Sorry again for the delay in responding. Thanks so much!
  2. Does anyone have any information on a saddle maker named James Abbott? A friend of mine recently aquired the saddle and it is stamped James Abbott with a #6 right below the name on the top of the rear housing. Could this possibly be the owner of the saddle and not the maker? The saddle has a high back and is roughout. I am going to post pictures of the saddle soon. I apologize if I have done this wrong as it is my first time to post. Thanks so much for any help you can give me!
